GOTransformation

GOTransformation

is an option to decide, if data transformation is performed in GTPhMPBFields.

Details and Options

  • For the symmetry analysis the complete border of the cell is necessary. Therefore a row and a column of data will be added. This has to be done by the correct phase factors. To do the transformation correctly the objects “Bloch wavevector” and the corresponding real and imaginary parts of the field component are necessary.
  • Typical values for GOTransformation are:
  • TruePerforms transformation of data.
    FalseDoesn't perform transformation of data.

First load the package:

The original data contain 96 rows and columns of data.

The transformation generates a quadratic pixel map. This is necessary for symmetry analysis.

Plot the field.

If only the structure of the field should be visualized, the transformation is ot necessary.
