GTNumberOfIreps

GTNumberOfIreps[group]

gives the number of non-equivalent irreducible representations.

Details and Options

  • A finite group has a finite number of irreducible representations.
  • The number of irreducible representations is equal to the number of conjugacy classes.
  • The following options can be given:
  • GOFast GOFastValueSkips the input validation
    GOVerbose TrueSkips the text output

Basic Examples  (1)

Options  (4)

GOFast  (2)

The evaluation time can be decreased, using GOFastTrue.

If GOFastFalse is used, a check of the input will be performed.

GOVerbose  (2)

The text output can be suppressed by GOVerbose.
