GTJplus

GTJplus[J]

gives the raising operator for angular momentum J.

Details and Options

  • GTJplus gives a matrix representation of the raising operator acting on an irreducible subspace with total angular momentum quantum number J.
  • The raising operator acts as J+|j; m> = |j; m+1>
  • J+ is related to Jx and Jy: J+= Jx + i Jy (see GTJx and GTJy)
  • For the corresponding lowering operator, see GTJminus.
  • GTJplus is a GTPack command [1,2].
