GTJy

GTJy[J]

gives the y component of the total angular momentum operator for angular momentum J.

Details and Options

  • GTJy gives a matrix representation of the y component of the total angular momentum operator acting on an irreducible subspace with quantum number J.
  • Jy is related to the raising operator J+ and lowering operator J- by Jy=(J+-J-)/2 i (see GTJplus, GTJminus)
  • GTJy is a GTPack command [1,2].
