GTAngularMomentumChars[classes,j]

calculates the character system of a (2j+1)-dimensional matrix representation of O(3).

Details and Options

  • The character of an angular momentum representation matrix for a rotation about the z-axis can be calculated by .
  • For a general rotation, about an arbitrary axis, WignerD-functions correspond to the representation matrices.
  • The following option can be given:
